Humans are political creatures. That, anyway, is what every Poly Sci professor will tell you, whether they’re teaching at a community college or molding minds in the halls of the ivy league.
According to modern philosophy, we also create our own realities based on how we think. “Good in, good out,” as they say, and oh, how wise ‘they’ are!
Hence, if you take two people- one from each side of the American political spectrum- and put them side by side, you’ll quickly discover that they live in totally different worlds… Light years apart from each other!
One might say the country is falling apart while the other might see hope and prosperity for the future, and that is just one example.
The question that this project seeks to answer is: Are our individual worlds really mutually exclusive, or is there a common ground where we can all agree?

Now, it might seem like an impossible question to answer, and although many will claim that everyone on the “other side” is flat-out wrong, this author begs to differ.
There is a common truth, as well as a common reality. That being the case, there must be a central point of agreement in virtually every conflict. Our only challenge is to find it.
Furthermore, we seek to understand why that common ground is so elusive in the first place. Is it just the way humans are ‘wired’, or do we have a choice in the matter?
That all being said, the mission of the Dantian Project is to find our common ‘center’. For, just as the center chakra in eastern philosophy— the ‘Dantian’ — is the source of unimaginable power and strength, so too will the combined passions of every human unlock the fullest potential of mankind.
It’s a big undertaking to be sure…
But, knowing that sometimes there’s an absolute “right” and “wrong” answer to a question, and at other times there is only the murky water of ‘belief’, we owe it to ourselves and to all of posterity to at least make the effort to differentiate between the two.
The alternative has become far too dangerous…
The advent of artificial intelligence, coupled with the rise of social media, has created an atmosphere of toxic misinformation, hatred and intolerance that threatens to upend any chance we have of living in peace. As a society, It’s effectively pulling us away from our ‘center’.
This is evidenced by the bitter political divides and global unrest which are knocking louder and louder upon humanity’s door. If we don’t answer, then they might just kick it in.
The one thing we can count on is that they won’t leave on their own.
Fortunately, we have a few powerful weapons at our disposal with which to ward off the enemy; Empathy, compassion and selflessness are each a part of our arsenal. We have only to deploy them effectively.
So, I hope you’ll join me in making the trek, and fighting the fight… I promise that the road will be long, winding and treacherous, as we make our way toward the final destination, where a vicious battle between good and evil may very well ensue.
With any luck, however, at the end of it all, we will have come that much closer to finding the One Truth, where every single person on Earth might converge together as one.
Cheers!
